I was fortunate to be invited to the Primark AW Press day yesterday and what hidden gems they had in store for us! From a range of pieces you'd expect to find in Zara, Primark had an answer for and at a fraction of the price. Dog tooth, Boucle and Jaquared fabrics were hung along the rails accompanied by chiffon blouses, crepe lightweight blazers with the occasional injection of print and colour. Collars were embroidered, textured and embellished to be worn underneath the huge selection of woolen jumpers; oversized, fluffy and patterned. However, it wasn't just the clothing that caught my eye. The fanciful selection of cakes and desserts were delicious and went down a treat with the fruity smoothies provided by the girls. My first ever press day and I loved it. Many thanks to the Our Assembly girls.

Forgot to post these a while back - beautiful imagery. Making me a little excited about summer; trips to the park, pub gardens, bike rides and the like. Everything seems so much better with a little injection of sunshine.

I like this ad. Yes I sat here watching close to tears but that's what makes me like it. It's produced an emotional response, something that I can relate to. Yes okay, so maybe the title 'best job' should be reconsidered - I'm not sure whether being a Mum classifies as being a 'job', but nonetheless it's an ad that strikes a chord. Not only with Mums, but also the people that love them. At the end of the day I think a great ad is one that connects with its audience and this ad most certainly does!
