A mere 20 minute drive in usual weather conditions resulted in a 1 hour and 40 minute journey into work today and one very unhappy passenger. 40 minutes late and a unsurprisingly quiet New Look store had me bored to death wishing I was at home with a steaming hot chocolate whilst watching my favourite friends episode (Ross and his fajitaaaaas ). Dressed as a geek (fancy dress day at work) walking through Enfield town, with my hair in plaits, my stunning leggings, socks and shoes combo and snow falling around me I felt I was in some weird Narnia world- with everyone staring at me as if I were mad.
However, on a positive note, I did manage to get the majority of my Christmas shopping done this morning before the havoc of the snow commenced. For this I congratulate myself.
