S A S S & B I D E

I have to admit, this collection isn’t a typical choice for me. Sun-bright, bold colours? Geometric prints? Extreme neon piping? These types of aesthetic clashes don’t usually come top of my 'must have' list, nor does it fit within my traditional colour palette of black, tan and grey (exciting I know!).
Sass & Bide's SS12 ready to wear collection however gets my creative side splurging over the edges with pure excitement. I love the stand out colours, the tribal prints and heavy embellishment. I love the billowing draping and the dramatic asymmetric hemlines. I find the clashes oddly appealing and the fluid lines of the tunic tops combined with the structural aqua couture-esque dresses ensure this collection really stands out. A combination of my favourite individual 'styles' (the style I wish I had rather than the style I actually wear), all thrown together and mixed up to produce something my wardrobe would be worthy to hold. Well played Sass & Bide, you have the boring, 3 colour only, dresser converted.
